Forms & Submissions
Turn your site visitors into leads. Create forms through conversation, collect submissions, and export data, all built in.
Quick Answer
Boomlink forms let an AI assistant add lead capture to a page, define the fields, publish the form, and route submissions into your Boomlink dashboard.
Use forms for contact requests, waitlists, quotes, event signups, and intake questionnaires when the site needs visitor data tied to a published Boomlink page.
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Create | Ask your AI assistant for the form purpose, fields, validation, button text, and success message. |
| Place | Add the form to the page section where the visitor is ready to contact, join, or request access. |
| Collect | Review submissions in Boomlink, export CSV when needed, and enable email alerts for new responses. |
Creating Forms
Ask your AI assistant to add the form, then review its fields in the preview:
"Add a contact form to my homepage with name, email, and message fields"
Your AI creates the form, configures the fields, and embeds it on the right page in one step.
Need more control? Specify field types, validation rules, CAPTCHA, and redirect behavior in your prompt.
Field Types
14 field types cover everything from simple contact forms to detailed intake questionnaires.
Form Settings
Control what happens after a visitor hits submit.
Keep the form short unless the visitor has strong intent. A waitlist might only need email and role, while a quote request can ask for budget, timeline, company size, and project details. Match the field count to the promise on the page.
Test the submit flow once before sharing the page.
Review settings before publishing because they define the visitor handoff. The success message should confirm what happens next, the redirect should point to a live page, and the notification email should go to the person responsible for following up on each submission.
Submit Button Text
Customize the label on your submit button (e.g., "Send Message", "Get Quote").
Success Message
The message shown to visitors after a successful submission.
Redirect URL
Optionally redirect visitors to a thank-you page or external URL after submission.
Notification Email
Receive an email alert every time a new submission arrives.
CAPTCHA
Enable bot protection with a CAPTCHA challenge to reduce spam submissions.
Viewing Submissions
Every response is stored securely and accessible from your dashboard, with no third-party tools needed.
Navigate to your site in the dashboard and open the Forms tab.
Select a form to view individual submissions with timestamps and field values.
Export data as CSV for use in spreadsheets or external tools.
